Jubar Chowdhury came to America with his family in 1990 and he was born in Sunamganj, Bangladesh, went abroad to completing his schooling with BS in Business Administration and diving into his professional career.
‘Early to bed, early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise,’ was the idiom he heard daily growing up quoted by his father, Late Shofiqul Islam Chowdhury. Although the “early to bed” seldom happened, Jubar Chowdhury (of New York, Queens) has been an early riser since the age of 14 as his day was filled with juggling school, work and productive tasks to begin his journey upwards.
You can say Jubar was born into the banking industry! Quickly with his hard work, determination, quick thinking and natural leadership ability, he became a Bank Manager at the age of 22. With 18 years tenure in the banking industry Jubar worked his way up to Vice President Regional Support Manager for JP Morgan Chase, in charge of 130 branches, 2,000 employees overseeing Connecticut and Westchester region. He was recognized and has been awarded multiple times for being top performing regional support manager in the country. Banking has been the stepping stone for Jubar as he acquired skills and knowledge to guide branches towards financial growth. Simultaneously he has helped all his employees improve their professional abilities and thinking strategies that also proved to be beneficial for their life as well. ‘If I can help a person be a better version of themselves with my expertise, why not?’ has been his motto in every walk of life.
Being the son a reputable and respected businessman in Bangladesh, Jubar has always been aware of the business world, growth and the drive to success. So naturally, while growing up in America he was constantly aware and became well versed in the ever changing economy and market that led to him becoming an avid investor in Real Estate. As the CEO and Founder of JSI Empire, he has a portfolio of residential and commercial properties in multiple parts of Queens and Bronx. With all the successful banking years, experience in real estate and his desire to help others along the way, Jubar stepped into the pharmacy business. As the Founder and CEO of JS Empire, multiple pharmacy branches that provide for the Queens community and the health of residents, Jubar has expanded his desire to help the community via health education and resources for a healthier life.
