Ahighly respected and well known member of the Bangladeshi community known for his entrepreneurship, philanthropic skills and ability to have grown a successful group of businesses both in the UK and Bangladesh. Born in Bahadurganj, Rajnagar Moulvibazar Bangladesh, Dr. Moula came to the UK after finishing his secondary education. In the UK he went on to a national diploma in Business Studies then entered his family business of clothing. He launched his first multi-award winning restaurant Rajnagar International in 1987 followed by a successful chain of restaurants, residential hotels, land and property development businesses in the UK and Bangladesh.

Alongside many prestigious business awards/recommendations, in 2005 he was honoured with a doctorate in Business Management. In 2010 he was one of 12 selected Bangladeshi expatriates from all over the world, awarded CIP NRB (Commercially Important Person) by order of the President of Bangladesh and was selected for the honour again more recently in 2011 and 2013.
Dr. Moula has helped many charities across the UK and Bangladesh. He has funded several institutions and infrastructure buildings on top of offering scholarships to talented students. In order to increase awareness of literacy in Bangladesh he has published a book named “A Complete English Grammar”.
Dr. Moula is involved with the welfare of the Bangladeshi community. Currently Chairman of Dr Moula foundation, founder of Rajnagar Degree College Masjid; Bahadurganj Furkania Masjid & Madrasa complex, a Founder and President of the Guild of Bangladeshi Restaurateurs, life member Moulvibazar and London Bangla Press Club and former Senior Vice President of Birmingham Bangladesh Welfare Association and Vice President of Rajnagar Youth Welfare Society UK and President of Moulvibazar Jela Jonosheba Shangstha Midlands also Vice & acting President of British Bangladeshi Chamber of Commerce Midlands. He is also a member of the Conservative party in the UK.

Dr Moula has shown great commitment with his business acumen and philanthropic activities. He launched MBM Builders Mart Bangladesh UK Ltd; a joint venture company, and first ever one stop building materials superstore in Bangladesh. The opening ceremony was taken place by chief guest honourable Industry Minister along with many influential figures of Bangladesh. More recently, he opened a new branch of MBM Builders Mart, at the Moula Landmark in Moulvibazar. The company is an international concept trying to establish something innovative to help in boosting up the economy of Bangladesh, create jobs and hassle free one stop service for the community. This was followed by his export based packaging industry, MBM Agro Foods BD-UK. He has taken this new initiative to develop, package and supply spices and other food products from Bangladesh to the UK. He is also going to launch his one stop shopping mall soon which has already been completed. By doing so he is looking to create a small but very diverse industrial aspect; in order to help the Bangladesh economy and its community as a British Investor. In December 2010 Dr Moula launched ‘Surmar Dhau’ newspaper which he is editor and publisher of. It carries latest news of both the Bangladeshi and British community, and published on a weekly basis. He is Chairman of MBM Builders Mart BD-UK Ltd, MBM Media – Weekly Surmar Dhau, MBM Agro Industries and MBM Shopping Mall.
