M Murad Yousuf CIP is the Managing Director of Mexim Australia Pte Ltd, a famous import-export company in Australia. He is the President of Australia Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce & Industry and is also Vice-President of NRB World.
He was born on 21 July 1971 in Fatehpur village of Feni. His father late Momtaz Uddin was a teacher and mother Rabia Khatun is a housewife.
Murad Yousuf went to Singapore to pursue higher education after passing the HSC examination from Feni Government College in 1989. He completed his Advanced Diploma in Computer Studies (ADCS) from Informatics Computer College, Singapore in 1992. After successful completion he started work as Computer Programmer and Senior Programmer at Livale Training Center Pty Ltd, a computer school in Singapore from 1993 to 1995.
Once he obtained Permanent residency (PR) in Singapore, Murad Yousuf leave the job and started his entrepreneur journey and founded an Export& Import company Signet International Pte Ltd in Singapore in November 1995 and the following year (1996) he started Freight & Shipping Company Sun Moon Shipping Pte Ltd. Both the company he managed successfully as its Managing Director till October 2002.
He moved to Australia in 2003 and set up a company name The Crib USA Pty Ltd (Clothing whole sales with 3 retail outlet) later 2004 he established Mexim Australia Pte Ltd, an export-import business, The company is conducting export and import business in about twelve countries including Bangladesh.
Later, he founded Mexim New Zealand Ltd, New Zealand in 2020 and Mexim Pacific Ltd, Solomon Island also set up Mexim Distributor USA INC, NY in the same year in America. He is the Managing Director of all these companies. These aretrading companies. He is also exporting pure frozen food, vegetables, clothes from Bangladesh to Australia and other countries.
He is currently well established in the international business arena with expertise and success. Meanwhile, apart from Australia, he has been conducting business by establishing offices in USA and New Zealand and Solomon Island capital city Honiara.
Recently, M. Murad Yousuf CIP also Invested in Farming industry. Currently, he has a cattle farm as well as Olive farm and Olive Oil factory in Victoria Australia.
While Doing the Business he continues his Academic journey as well and completed his Postgraduate Degree and MBA from “Victoria University” in Melbourne, Australia. Now, he has started his PhD in international business.
Murad Yousuf’s wife Sabrina Yousuf is also a Director of Mexim Group along with household chores. This happy couple has three sons and a daughter. Among the children, two Sons and daughter are studying at Monash University In Melbourne and younger son is a grade- III student.
He said, ‘I provide financial support to poor students of my area and development of mosques, madrasas and schools. But in future I have plans to do some training centers in Bangladesh. Through the training center, those who are interested in going abroad will be arranged for training in related subjects so that they can get job opportunity with good salary. I think English language education should be given more importance in the current curriculum. There is a demand of nursing in abroad. More institutions should be established in this regard.’
He said that I want to see Bangladesh as a developed country. But at the same time I want a 100% educated and humane Bangladesh, where the judicial system and administrative system will be just. There will be many parties in the country but everyone will work to implement the spirits of the liberation war. In the system of government, the interests of the country will prevail, not partisanship. People of all countries of the world will respect and honor us.
