LONDON, 4 October 2026: Senior political, business and community figures gathered at the Curry Life Awards 2026 and Gala Dinner on Sunday, 4 October 2026, at the prestigious InterContinental London Park Lane, One Hamilton Place, London W1J 7QY.
Among those present were Dawn Butler MP, former Minister; Rushanara Ali MP, former Minister; Cllr Parvez Ahmed, former Mayor of Brent; Oli Khan MBE, President of the Bangladesh Caterers Association (BCA); and Enamul Haque Enam, Founder of NRB World and Managing Editor of Business America Magazine.


Also present were the two brothers behind Curry Life—Syed Nahas Pasha, Editor-in-Chief of Curry Life, and Syed Belal Ahmed, Editor of Curry Life.
International Chef and Guinness World Record Holder Tipu Rahman was also present at the gala as a distinguished international culinary figure and record holder.
The event brought together prominent representatives of Britain’s curry and hospitality industry, alongside political, business and community leaders, for an evening of recognition, networking and celebration.
The Curry Life Awards, established to recognise excellence across Britain’s curry industry, celebrate outstanding restaurants, chefs, takeaways, suppliers and other contributors to the sector.
The 2026 gathering provided a platform for industry leaders, entrepreneurs, political representatives and community figures to come together and celebrate the achievements and continuing contribution of the British curry and hospitality industry.
The event concluded with the presentation of awards and a gala dinner at the InterContinental London Park Lane.
